About The Position

The Beer Garden Manager assists the General Manager in handling all aspects of the beer garden operation to maintain and develop a high level of guest experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience in Food & Beverage.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry and previous experience in scheduling and staffing.
  • At least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume and/or fine-dining restaurant and demonstrated track record of success.
  • Beer, spirits, and wine certification(s).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that every guest receives the Dacha Experience. Their Gemütlichkeit is the highest priority.
  • Have complete knowledge of all products and specifications.
  • Enforce Dacha's service standards and rules with staff.
  • Assist the General Manager with the sale, organization, and execution of private events.
  • Hire, train, develop, and discipline hourly front-of-the-house staff according to company guidelines.
  • Establish positive guest relations with all patrons of the restaurant. Maintain a rapport with guests, comply with all requests, and meet guest expectations to build a positive reputation and return business.
  • Lead the hourly team to ensure a positive and happy environment while ensuring top performance.
  • Perform other side duties as requested by the management and leadership team.
