About The Position

As a Beer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for essential functions including daily safety inspections of equipment (trucks, forklifts, electric jacks) in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations. Your duties will involve accurately picking and checking customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and verifying shipping and receiving quantities. You are expected to maintain a clean warehouse and work environment, operate all equipment safely, and immediately report any accidents, unsafe conditions, or injuries. Professional appearance in company-supplied uniforms is required. You will deliver orders to customers promptly, professionally, and politely, and plan routes for the most economical use of time and equipment. This is a safety-sensitive position, meaning job performance can affect the safety of yourself and others, and you must be able to perform responsibilities without posing a threat. Requirements

  • Valid CLASS A CDL license and reliable transportation
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving

Responsibilities

  • Performing daily inspections on all safety sensitive equipment (trucks, forklifts, electric jacks, etc.) to be utilized in preparing and/or the delivery or orders as per the Occupational Safety & Health Administration and the Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Picking and checking customer orders accurately and efficiently, loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipping and receiving quantities.
  • Keeping warehouse and work environment clean.
  • Operating all equipment in a safe and orderly fashion.
  • Reporting any accident, unsafe conditions or injuries immediately.
  • Maintaining professional appearance with company supplied uniforms.
  • Delivering orders to customers in a prompt, professional and polite fashion.
  • Planning route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
