About The Position

BEEP PHYSICAL THERAPIST, ESY POSITION OVERVIEW Provide consultation and direct PT services to BEEP, K-8, High School and/or Post-Secondary/Transition students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide direct services to students as indicated on caseload IEP Support students with a range of PT services, motor delays and/or underlying impairments that limit/prevent a student from accessing the educational curriculum Coordination of related service and service only student support Consult with ESY teachers Provide direct or consultative services; modify or adapt school environments, tools, or materials as needed in order to support a student in accessing the educational curriculum and environment as independently as possible Adapt as needed to changes in student and/or team response, available treatment locations, and educational activities Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

Requirements

  • Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
  • All employees must be vaccinated and maintain full vaccination as a condition of employment or work as an on-site vendor/contractor, unless they receive approval for a documented medical or religious exemption in accordance with relevant state and/or federal law.

Nice To Haves

  • Massachusetts DESE Physical Therapist certification required
