Job Details: We are seeking driven and passionate interns to join our team and contribute to meaningful projects that drive our business forward. As an intern at Tyson Foods, you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop critical skills, and be part of a company that values innovation, sustainability, and excellence. During this 10–12 week program, you will learn our computer systems, product codes, and collaborate with departments such as scheduling, pricing, customer service, and transportation to ensure accurate shipments and order processing. You’ll gain a strong understanding of the sales process—specifically within beef and/or pork—and how it connects to plant operations. Requirements

  • Education: Pursuing a 4-year degree, preferably in Agriculture or Business. Must have completed Sophomore year and with at least one year of college remaining.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, familiarity with Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with leadership and persuasive selling abilities, and a strong work ethic.
  • Special Skills: Ability to multitask, motivated self-starter, and collaborative. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resume must state your expected graduation date and your area of study.
  • Candidates considering further education after degree completion must highlight this on their resume to ensure full consideration.
  • For positions where relocation is not offered, students must be within a commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.
  • This role requires the selected candidate to work in-office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters and work as many as 40 hours per week during the summer.
  • This program is 10 weeks minimum, up to 12 if the candidate chooses, and is located in Springdale, AR focusing on Beef & Pork.
  • Candidates are expected to work 40 hours/week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Prior Fresh Meats (Beef or Pork) background a plus.
  • Prior Sales experience a plus.
