About The Position
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor or Lead, the Bedmaker assists in guestroom bed making, vacuuming, dusting and other areas to prepare for occupancy and use according to standards and procedures established by the Bavarian Inn Lodge. The role also involves seeking out opportunities to provide exceptional guest service, which is achieved by greeting all guests in a warm and friendly manner, being courteous to guests and fellow employees, and setting an example for co-workers on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Good personal hygiene
- Ability to stand, reach, bend and kneel for 6+ hour shifts
- Ability to go on ladders
- Ability to push/pull equipment with a 10 lb+ force
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Knowledge of area and local attractions
Responsibilities
- Assist in guestroom bed making
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Prepare other areas for occupancy and use according to standards and procedures established by the Bavarian Inn Lodge
