About The Position

The Bed Utility associate works as a member of the setup and pour team assisting with the preparation and placement of materials in forms as directed.

  • This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and bending, repetitive motion with medium force, and an ability to frequently climb up to 15 feet above ground using stairs.

  • Able to use standard construction tools preferred
  • Able to read blueprints preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • 0-1 years of previous general construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift
  • Collect and prepare materials as directed
  • Prepare and clean forms
  • Place items in forms as directed
  • Assist with concrete pours as needed
  • Assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed
  • Adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
  • Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
