Make a Difference The Bed Staffing Coordinator LPN facilitates the appropriate placement of patients within [HOSPITAL LOCATION]. Acts as a support and resource to ancillary departments and patient care areas. In Partnership with House Supervisors, coordinates the workflow of patient placement for the Acute Care Services units. Reports to the Clinical Manager of House Supervisors. The Bed Staffing Coordinator LPN contributes to cost effective quality patient outcomes by matching the resource of the system with the needs of the patient. Prioritizes needs and the allocation of resources to promote efficiency in patient placement. Anticipates problems in the system related to resources and mobilizes problem-solving activities to proactively prevent or lessen the impact on the system. Utilizes strong communication skills and demonstrates the Network’s Relationship Competencies. Primary focus on patients, families, physicians, and staff satisfaction. Facilitates admissions, transfers, discharges, and environmental services cleaning of vacant rooms, and utilizes Premise to optimize throughput and capacity.
