About The Position

As a Female Personal Care Aide (PCA) at Bluebird Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and reliable care to clients in Brooklyn. Requirements

• Certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) in New York.
• Fluency in English required (Spanish language skills are a plus).
• Prior experience in home care is preferred but not necessary—we'll train the right person!
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and genuine compassion for others.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Physical exam, including drug test, measles (rubeola), rubella, and flu vaccine, within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Administer medications as prescribed and provide medication reminders to ensure proper care.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to specific dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with laundry to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, building strong relationships with clients and enhancing their quality of life.
