About The Position

As a Beauty Sales Associate at International Shoppes, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales at JFK Airport, within the beauty retail environment. Your primary objective will be to engage with customers, understand their beauty needs, and provide expert advice on a wide range of cosmetic, fragrance and skincare products and brands. You will be responsible for maintaining an inviting and well-organized sales floor that highlights the latest beauty trends and products. This role requires a passion for beauty, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success and reputation of the store by enhancing the customer shopping experience and achieving sales targets.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
Basic knowledge of beauty products, skincare, and makeup application techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Bilingual is a PLUS
Must pass airport security background check (JFK Airport).
Valid passport required, subject to international or domestic travel.

Nice To Haves

Certification or training in cosmetology or beauty therapy.
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, identifying their beauty needs and preferences.
Provide detailed product knowledge and demonstrations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the beauty sales floor and product displays.
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and store sales goals while maintaining a positive work environment.
Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and reporting low stock or discrepancies to management.
