About The Position

As a member of the beauty team at Nordstrom, you will play a dual role as both an artist and a teacher, focusing on building long-lasting relationships with customers passionate about cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance. This position emphasizes achieving sales goals through effective customer engagement and teamwork in a commissioned sales environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Build long-lasting relationships with customers who have a passion for cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance trends.
  • Provide honest, tactful feedback and guidance to customers on beauty products.
  • Set and exceed company and personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
  • Achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using effective selling tools, including text and social media.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
  • Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
  • Maintain department readiness through stocking, re-merchandising, display, merchandise transfers, and light cleaning.
