The role of a Beauty Consultant can provide you with the skills and experiences of : Ad apt communication style to build a trusting relationship with guests and influence beauty regimens P rovide personalized beauty product and regimen recommendations through guest engagement, product training, and sampling R etail business fundamentals including inven tory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies B eauty product knowledge including: beauty brands, seasonal trends, cosmetics and various skincare products

Requirements

You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).
12+ months previous beauty retail experience preferred, but not
Strong interest and knowledge of beaut y and skincare products
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team membe rs
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devic es and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directe d
Effective communication skills
W ork both independently and with a team
Resolve guest questions quickly
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish m ultiple tasks within established timeframes
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
Climb up and down ladders
Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 4 4 pounds without additional assistance from others.
Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) ; reliable and prompt attendance necessary
Cap able of working in and expos ure to varying temperatures, humidity , and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive - Up, carryout, etc.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift ( shift length may vary).

Responsibilities

Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities
Create an inviting shopping environment by e xecut ing salesfloo r processes for beauty area which include filling the salesfloor with inventory , straightening merchandise , updating salesfloor inventory counts, maintaining testers and making changes to salesfloor merchandise displays
Execute backroom processes for beauty area which include organizing and storing reserve product
Stay current on top beauty brands and trends to e ngage guests with personal recommendations and product sampling , b uilding loyalty and brand affinity
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
Work in a safe manner at all times ; comply with all safety policies , best practices , and training; report hazards and correct where possible
Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
When guests need assistance , engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
