About The Position

This is for our Steele Creek Location: 9011 South Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28273. As a Beauty Care Team Member, you help customers find the right products while keeping shelves well-stocked and organized. This includes sharing information about hair and/ or skin care items—such as ingredients and how to use them—and offering recommendations when customers are unsure about what suits their needs. You also contribute to a clean, organized, and personalized shopping experience. As a Cashier, you deliver a positive customer experience through friendly, fair, and courteous service. Your responsibilities include scanning and processing purchases, totaling transactions, assisting with customer questions or concerns, bagging items when needed, and handling returns.

Requirements

  • Availability to work evenings (12 PM/3 PM – 8 PM) and weekends.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
  • Adherence to Tisun dress code and policies outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for and alignment with Tisun Beauty’s mission.
  • Previous retail customer service experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of hair and skincare products, including natural hair, braids/locs, color/bleach, and hair texture/porosity.
  • Friendly, approachable, and supportive attitude toward customers and team members.
  • Comfortable using technology and business-related applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a commitment to punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures while also demonstrating independent thinking.

Nice To Haves

  • Cosmetology training or education in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers as they arrive with a friendly attitude and assist them in locating specific items.
  • Listen to customer needs and feedback, and recommend hair care or skincare products that match their preferences.
  • Keep shelves fully stocked, restocking from the warehouse when necessary.
  • Maintain attractive product displays and ensure shelves are neat and well-organized.
  • Keep the sales floor and warehouse clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
  • Prepare purchases by wrapping, bagging, or boxing items for customers.
  • Process payments using cash, credit, or debit methods.
  • Accurately calculate totals and provide correct change.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve pricing issues when they arise.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and store credits efficiently.
