About The Position

The Beauty Advisor for Dyson at ActionLink is a part-time role focused on engaging customers and demonstrating Dyson's innovative hair care tools at local Nordstrom and Sephora stores. The position aims to create memorable experiences for customers while promoting Dyson's premium hair styling products, including the Supersonic hair dryer and Airwrap styler. The advisor will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, providing beauty consultations, and training store personnel on Dyson products.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license preferred, but not required
• High energy and strong relationship-building skills
• Experience in hair styling and/or working in a salon environment
• Experience in retail, customer service, and/or sales preferred
• Access to reliable vehicle transportation to commute to assigned stores
• Must adhere to dress code/professional appearance standards and demeanor
• Access to a smart device to complete reporting and communicate with district manager
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Share enthusiasm about the Dyson brand with store associates and customers
• Conduct interactive styling demos & product presentations to individuals and groups
• Provide engaging beauty consultations and expert product knowledge advice to increase sales
• Train store personnel to communicate Dyson information with confidence
• Help maintain visual product display standards at shopfront
• Establish positive professional connections with store leaders and beauty advisors
• Participate in paid training sessions and team conference calls
• Complete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift
