About The Position

The Beauty Advisor at Saks Fifth Avenue is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within the cosmetics department. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding quota.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Saks Fifth Avenue.
  • Strong attention to detail and initiative in a positive working environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive business success.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and organizational ability.
  • Professional make-up and treatment consultation and application skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor line sales volumes.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships while working effectively with team members.
  • Focus on in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events.
  • Maintain a properly merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
  • Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to drive business and create success.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales goals, and department sales goals.
  • Maintain a consistent high level of customer service as the brand expert and department representative.
  • Record and maintain client information and preferences using online clienteling tools.
  • Ensure a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling area.
