ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Beautician provides high-quality cosmetology services to clients, including haircuts, styling, manicures, and other personal care treatments. This role is focused on enhancing client wellness and appearance through professional, attentive service in a clean, welcoming environment. The Beautician ensures client satisfaction by delivering personalized beauty treatments and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cosmetology field.
  • Valid and current cosmetology license in the state of Florida.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of beauty services including haircuts, hairstyling, manicures, and other cosmetology treatments.
  • Consult with clients to understand their beauty goals and recommend appropriate services.
  • Ensure workstations and tools are cleaned, sanitized, and organized according to state health regulations.
  • Maintain a positive, client-focused attitude and ensure each guest has a satisfying experience.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, products, and techniques.
  • Assist with inventory of supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Uphold salon or spa policies and contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to support smooth operations and client scheduling.
