About The Position

THE BEACH CLUB POOL ATTENDANT
The Pool Attendant is to provide customer service to guests in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of teamwork and guest satisfaction. Primarily a Pool Attendant works in the Club pool area checking wristbands, greeting guests, maintaining general cleanliness of the pool deck, assisting with property information and offers continuous attention to detail.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills with guests
• Ability to read, write and determine Club membership eligibility
• Ability to operate computer to prepare membership and guest access and perform point of sale operations
• Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
• Ability to reach, bend and stoop
• Ability to carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds several times during a shift
• Ability to work outside in hot, inclement weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Check guest wristbands to maintain access control.
• Maintain an overall clean pool area
• Perform minor custodial/cleaning tasks within Club House and outdoor pool.
• Run errands for Club personnel, as required by Club Manager or Supervisor.
• Keep Club Manager and Supervisor informed of issues and report on tasks completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
