About The Position

The Linen Room Attendant organizes and performs all linen activities while following policies and procedures. The Linen Room Attendant is trained in a variety of areas so that he/she may assist all other Housekeeping team members including housekeepers, inspectors, floor care specialists, etc

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • Must possess excellent oral/written skills
  • Must possess a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be energetic and self-motivated
  • Must have valid driver license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
  • Ability to reach, stoop, and kneel
  • Must have sufficient strength and the ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must be able to work in/out of hot, inclement weather conditions as needed

Responsibilities

  • Ensure linen is rolled, bagged and ready for the Housekeepers
  • Distribute supplies to Housekeepers
  • Be prepared to accept and approve deliveries
  • Maintain inventory pars and assist in taking monthly inventories
  • Assist in pick up of dirty linen as needed
  • Separate dirty linen and prepare for pick up
  • Keep Linen Room organized, neat and clean
  • Assist other housekeepers and inspectors as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
