About The Position

The Beach Club is seeking a friendly, reliable Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and light breakfast foods. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each guest enjoys a positive and memorable experience

Requirements

Previous barista or food service experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Exhibits a consistently positive attitude
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Ensures accuracy and consistency through careful attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take direction
Time management and multitasking skills
Demonstrates reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to teamwork
Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
Ability to reach, bend and stoop
Ability to carry 25 pound several times during a shift over a medium distance
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to company standards
Prepare breakfast food items according to established standards
Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders and handle cash and card transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed
Answer customer questions and make menu recommendations
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
