About The Position

The Beach Blvd Steamer Busperson is responsible for assisting servers and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This role involves efficiently removing dirty dishes, glassware, and flatware from tables and countertops, and transporting them to the designated area (dish room). The Busperson will also stock operating supplies, reset tables according to established specifications, and assist servers in their duties, including refilling drinks and attending to guests' needs. Additionally, the Busperson is responsible for removing refuse and debris from tables, chairs, floors, and service stations in accordance with department procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to push or pull carts and/or dollies up to 100lbs.
• Must be able to reach above and below shoulder area.
• Must be able to grip small items, bend, stoop, and twist while carrying restaurant stock.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to eight hours.
• Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace in crowded, busy, or noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently remove dirty dishes, glassware, and flatware from tables and countertops.
• Transport dirty items to the designated area (dish room).
• Stock operating supplies, china, flatware, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Reset tables with silverware, linen, glassware, and flatware according to specifications.
• Assist servers with refills, food delivery, and guest needs.
• Remove and dispose of refuse and debris from dining areas.
