Division: Beach & Activities (BEP001) Band 1U Beach Attendant/Waterman Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the order, cleanliness and safety of the beach and lawn area. Attend and service the guests at the beach according to resort standards and provide a warm greeting and set up of beach/lawn chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and towels. Inform guests of the Hotel’s Ocean Awareness Program and services available at the beach and lawn. Respond to emergencies following Hotel procedures. Attendants assigned to the lifeguard stand must oversee the general conditions of the beach and swimmers, responding to emergencies utilizing lifesaving techniques and must be USLA certified. Attendants assigned to the waterman duties should meet minimal requirement and certification to assist guests with water activities.
