About The Position
Akkodis is seeking a BEA WebLogic Application Server Consultant for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. Responsible for administering and optimizing BEA WebLogic Application Server environments to ensure high availability and performance. Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with BEA WebLogic Application Server administration.
- Expertise in WebLogic configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, patching, and version upgrades for WebLogic servers.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain BEA WebLogic Application Server environments to ensure stability and performance.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise applications within WebLogic.
- Monitor server health, optimize performance, and implement security best practices.
- Manage patches, upgrades, and version migrations for WebLogic environments.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve application and server issues.
- Document configurations, processes, and provide guidance for operational support teams.
