Responsibilities

Will promote a safe working environment. Understand and adhere to all Silgan Safety Policies and Procedures to prevent injury to self and co-workers.
Ensuring machines are functioning safely in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards.
Understanding of bottle quality requirements and documentation of those requirements
Sustain efficiency and scrap on production machines that meet company goals.
Ability to effectively communicate machines, process, quality related issues.
Effectively diagnose problems and logically troubleshoot tasks.
Effectively make minor mechanical repairs.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
Will promote a “teamwork” atmosphere by assisting where needed in housekeeping, organizing, packing, transporting corrugated, erecting corrugated, performing rework.
Performance master cleaning tasks when is necessary.
Comply with directions from supervisors and managers.
Perform minor repairs to the machines during their shift.
Complete quality inspection and record them in our WinSPC software.
Mechanical and Process related troubleshooting on machines and equipment.
Follow GDP, Safety and PPE Guidelines.
Must be able to lift 50lb. bags of resin / concentrate.
Must be able to climb ladders and stand on feet for entirety of the shift.
