About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a qualified, proactive, team-oriented, and motivated Senior Business Ops Specialist with a history of high performance to join our BDS Engineering Capability team located in Tukwila, WA. This position will be supporting Senior Directors for both Production Engineering and Product Security Engineering in Puget Sound. The chosen individual will work in close partnership with both engineering capability leaders, and team with BDS engineering executives, workforce leaders, and engineering capability teams across BDS in support of BDS engineering priorities and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience working with senior level/executive level management
• 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
• 3+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers
• 3+ years of experience in creating executive level briefings

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience working with senior level/executive level management

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization
• Coordinate the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
• Collect, organize and provide data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status for engineering capability priorities
• Ensure follow up action for issue resolution
• Lead process improvements, data management and technology enhancements
• Develop organizational and business performance metrics
• Develop organizational staffing forecasts and budget requirements, including use of Adaptive Planning system
• Develop executive level presentation materials
• Strong communication skills
• The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
