About The Position

You'll be responsible for smashing targets, and building relationships in the industry. There's lots of room for growth and more senior roles in the commercial team from starting here. Work with the entire Growth team to set priorities and strategic direction for new business. Actively prospect and engage new brands using a variety of channels including (but not limited to) cold calling; email; LinkedIn; networking events. Conduct discovery Calls/demos with all outbound and inbound leads. Be a champion for our users and advocate for them, partnering with Marketing and Product teams to continuously improve the product. Collect and record feedback throughout the sales process, suggesting changes where you identify areas for improvement. Go above and beyond to be an Opply spokesperson, exceeding growth targets in line with achieving the overall business objectives. Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors. Attend industry events to network, build contacts, and represent Opply in the best light.

Requirements

  • ~2 years experience in Sales or Business Development ideally in a B2B role.
  • Consistently exceeded sales targets and motivated by the close.
  • Natural flair with customers and ongoing over performance of targets.
  • Experience or interest in the food/consumer goods industry with brands and suppliers preferred.
