About The Position

We are seeking a Business Development Center Representative (BDR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about motorcycles and have strong phone skills. The successful candidate will strongly desire to share their enthusiasm for motorcycles with our customers. The BDR will follow up on internet leads, inbound calls, unsold showroom traffic, targeted campaigns, website inventory management, and CRM management. The BDR will also be responsible for scheduling appointments from all lead sources promptly and diligently following up throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and using scripts/word tracks.
  • Preferred but not required: Previous experience in motorcycle sales or BDC.
  • Passion for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
  • High energy level.
  • Proficiency with computer applications including email, videos, CRM, and web browsers.
  • Well organized and able to multi-task, pivot, reorganize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, and an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Harley-Davidson motorcycles, or the ability to quickly learn them.
  • Ability to work effectively with all areas of the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage leads and maintain a minimum daily production expectation for call volume and scheduling appointments.
  • Meet dealership customer satisfaction standards.
  • Follow up and schedule appointments for internet leads, phone inquiries, and unsold showroom traffic.
  • Provide a prompt, dependable, high-quality experience to all customers in the motorcycle sales department.
  • Work with BDM and Sales Manager to ensure individual and department sales goals are met.
  • Conduct business using various methods, including email, phone, text, and video.
  • Show every customer the advantages of doing business with any of our 5 locations compared to other competitors.
  • Ensure that all inventory is kept up to date online and notify the Sales Manager and BDM of any adjustments needed.
  • Reply to new customer inquiries immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Handle internet and phone leads quickly and courteously.
  • Assess customers to determine their needs, desires, and purchasing ability.
  • Practice a feature/benefit selling methodology for consistent customer treatment.
  • Handle customer complaints reasonably and demonstrate commitment to 'Make Things Right'.
  • Cultivate prospects through showroom customer follow-up, phone-in inquiries, and past owners.
  • Attend training sessions as assigned to maintain dealership performance standards.
  • Conduct market research through competitive shopping.
  • Follow procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of workflow in the CRM.
