About The Position

Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Regional Manager- Business Development Center (BDC). This role involves building and launching a new in-store BDC Consultant role across our North Carolina store footprint. The successful candidate will manage, coach, and grow a team of in-store BDC Consultants to drive digital sales performance and customer engagement. Responsibilities include developing and executing best practices, fostering collaboration with store leadership, promoting digital retail expertise, ensuring CRM integrity, representing cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities for improvement, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in BDC, automotive retail, or digital sales environments.
  • Strong coaching and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems and lead management processes.
  • Ability to travel regularly across North Carolina store locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related work experience.
  • 3 - 5+ years’ automotive retail experience, including 2+ at a leadership level.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.).
  • Automotive lead management in dealership operations.
  • Managing a virtual team preferred.

  • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and establish the new in-store BDC Consultant role across our North Carolina store footprint.
  • Manage, coach, and grow a team of in-store BDC Consultants to drive digital sales performance and customer engagement.
  • Create and implement process standards that ensure consistency, excellence, and measurable results across all stores.
  • Foster strong relationships with Store leadership and teams to ensure alignment and maximize partnership success.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for the BDC team during regular in-store visits.
  • Set clear expectations and monitor accurate CRM data usage, including merging activities.
  • Support other BDC areas when needed during in-store visits.
  • Evaluate team and store performance to identify development areas and implement improvements.
  • Maintain proactive, clear, and respectful communication with both BDC and Store stakeholders, as well as senior leadership.
