About The Position

United Nissan is seeking a focused and computer-savvy BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center (BDC) Department. The BDC Manager will play a crucial role in generating and managing online and phone traffic to the dealership, ensuring effective reputation management, and converting that traffic into sales opportunities. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive working environment while achieving departmental goals. In this role, the BDC Manager will oversee a team of 3-6 BDC representatives in a call center environment. Responsibilities include training and staffing the BDC department, creating and managing processes for BDC representatives, and ensuring seamless appointment transfers to the sales department. The BDC Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and maximizing inbound phone, web, and showroom traffic streams, developing strategies to enhance lead volume and quality, and maintaining compliance with local and federal regulations related to call center operations. Additionally, the BDC Manager will work closely with department managers to achieve individual department goals, monitor dealer website traffic and performance, and assist with the selection and maintenance of online vendors. The role also involves overseeing customer retention strategies, following up with shoppers through various communication channels, and attracting new clientele through creative marketing ideas and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive lead generation, call center metrics, and relevant software, along with a professional and enthusiastic attitude.
