This role works directly under the BDC Director to assist with daily operations, team performance, coaching, and appointment production for the sales department. Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of BDC or Internet Sales leadership experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and performance-driven
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to coach and lead a team
  • Ability to work collaboratively with dealership leadership
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local and state regulations
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to comply with company driving policy

Responsibilities

  • Support the BDC Director with daily oversight of the Sales BDC team
  • Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and developing BDC representatives
  • Help monitor lead flow, response times, appointment quality, and show rates
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound sales calls, internet leads, texts, and emails are handled promptly and professionally
  • Work closely with Sales Management to ensure proper follow-up and appointment execution
  • Assist with tracking department performance, reporting, and incentive metrics
  • Handle escalated customer concerns related to the sales process
  • Review lead sources and digital performance regularly and communicate improvement opportunities to the BDC Director
  • Step in as acting team lead when the BDC Director is unavailable
