About The Position

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is responsible for receiving all incoming sales calls, establishing relationships with customers, and scheduling appointments for the Sales Associates. This role also manages Trailside's social media presence to drive engagement, build brand awareness, and generate leads. The BDC Representative interacts daily with the BDC Manager, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, support staff, and customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service, sales, or telemarketing background
  • Demonstrated experience managing business social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, social scheduling tools, and basic paid advertising
  • Basic photography or video skills for content creation; mobile content creation is acceptable
  • Computer literacy with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and act on instructions and information
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience in customer service, sales, telemarketing, or social media marketing required; two or more years preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior automotive or RV industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to inbound sales phone calls and leads within agreed upon expectations
  • Identify client needs and schedule showroom appointments
  • Place outbound phone calls to prospective and follow-up leads
  • Contact clients prior to scheduled appointments to confirm and prepare them
  • Follow up post-visit to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage referrals
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
  • Monitor social channels daily, report to management to respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews
  • Photograph and video inventory highlights, dealership events, and customer deliveries for social content
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms
