About The Position

The Business Development Center (BDC) Administrator plays a crucial role in the dealership by developing, processing, managing, following up, and tracking all customer interactions related to parts, service, and sales departments. This position is essential for ensuring that customer information is accurately gathered and maintained, which is vital for continual follow-up and retention. The BDC Administrator will be responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of product information, current sales pricing, and dealership and manufacturer events and promotions. In this role, the BDC Administrator will utilize their computer and phone skills to enhance the dealership's Internet department operations, aiming to increase appointments, sales, and customer retention. This includes scheduling solid appointments with customer call-ins, managing lists of sold and unsold floor traffic, reaching out to previous customers, referrals, and service and parts customers. The BDC Administrator must present information clearly and professionally, manage their time effectively, and demonstrate efficient typing and basic computer skills. This position offers a competitive wage range of $15 - $20 per hour, with additional bonuses based on individual appointments shown or sold, as well as manufacturer approvability. The actual pay offered may vary depending on the candidate's skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
