Our team is seeking a talented BD Solutions Architect to work in our Reston, VA location. As a Business Development Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing mission-ready solutions for complex federal challenges. You will thrive at the intersection of architecture and strategy, translating technical requirements into scalable systems and articulating their value in proposals and capture efforts.   • Design mission-ready solutions for complex federal challenges.
  • Translate technical requirements into scalable systems.
  • Articulate the value of solutions in proposals and capture efforts.
  • Lead demos, contribute code, and serve as product owner or scrum master as needed.
  • Develop clear, compelling technical volumes, implementation plans, diagrams, and solution narratives.
  • Work across the capture and proposal lifecycle, from shaping to solutioning.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams, proposal managers, BD leads, and SMEs.
  • U.S. Citizen (must be eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance).
  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and software development for federal clients.
  • Expert in designing cloud-native, scalable, secure systems (AWS preferred).
  • Proficient in enterprise architectures, open standards, DevSecOps, containerization, microservices, and modern APIs.
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern DevOps technologies and practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, build automation tools, Artifactory, and best-in-class SDLC frameworks.
  • Versatile and agile in various roles such as leading demos, contributing code, and serving as product owner or scrum master.
  • Skilled in building modern, scalable cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred).
  • Passionate about learning, adapting, and recommending emerging technologies.
  • Strong writing skills for developing technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with and use of AI/ML technologies and their impact on federal missions.
  • Hands-on experience with collaboration tools like Mural, Slack, Confluence, and similar platforms.
  • Agile certifications and cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
