The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced individual for a BCI Special Agent vacancy in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Section, Crime Scene Unit (Northwest). This position is primarily designated for remote working, with in-person requirements for training and operational needs. The headquarter location is London, OH. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) serves as the state’s official crime lab, providing expert criminal investigative services to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies 24/7 at no cost. BCI staff, including special agents, forensic scientists, and criminal intelligence analysts, work to provide high-level service across its three main divisions: Identifications, Investigations, and Laboratory. The successful candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate within 90 days to one of the specified Ohio counties.
