About The Position

The Edinburg Center is seeking a BCBA for a Group Home for individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Autism in Billerica MA A dedicated team of professionals who have chosen to join an organization with a forty year history of serving people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, brain injury and autism in the community. Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will be a BCBA/LABA, or close to your it (graduate who will soon have BCBA or graduate who needs BACB supervision hours) with experience in the following:
  • Conducting functional behavior assessments.
  • Goal development and design of positive behavior support plans.
  • Experience working with youth 21 years and under with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or autism.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills, team player.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for in-home behavioral support services.

Nice To Haves

  • VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS or other related assessments, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and learning needs assessments in family homes with a balanced caseload
  • Design positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized behavioral goals
  • Implement, model and monitor progress of individualized behavioral plans based on data analysis
  • Provide training and supervision to Behavior Technicians
  • Train parents, caregivers and BA level staff who implement plans with children and families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Collaborate with youth team members
