As a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at our leading Outpatient Pediatric Therapy Clinic, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of clinicians across multiple disciplines—including ABA, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and more—to deliver high-quality, individualized care for children with autism and related developmental disorders. Requirements
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Demonstrated strong skills in communication and behavior management.
- Ability to be flexible and to work collaboratively.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and safely.
- Strong skills in writing.
- Demonstrated capacity for empathy and creative problem solving.
- Comfortable with providing and receiving regular feedback.
Responsibilities
- Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
- Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to various supports and reinforcements.
- Collaborates with team members to provide interventions and supports.
- Helps maintain the learning environment by supporting students and working proactively to reduce behavioral difficulties.
- Provide crisis intervention and back-up support as necessary and requested.
