About The Position

Little Spurs Autism Centers was created in 2022 when our sister company, Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care, saw the increasing need for supportive, evidence-based ABA therapy among their patients. Our purpose is to help clients shine by focusing on their strengths and working together as a team to provide them with the skills they need to succeed. We provide positive, client-centered, and assent-based ABA that is focused on working holistically with the client and their family to achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited program/university, preferably in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, sociology, education, behavior analysis, or related field of study; required.
  • Must have a current BCBA certification in good standing with BACB
  • Current Texas LBA certificate
  • 2-3 years of direct BCBA experience required
  • 1-2 years of direct leadership experience required
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • MS Office experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full implementation of an ABA program for an initial caseload of 9-13 clients, including completing initial and ongoing assessments, developing, monitoring, and adjusting client treatment plans and goals, ensuring parent guidance meetings are completed, and overseeing the implementation of these treatment plans
  • Supports Regional Operations Director in hiring In-Home BCBAs and BCaBAs
  • Responsible for appropriate and ethical transition of client caseload to In-Home BCBA team
  • Train, onboard, and provide ongoing clinical mentorship and support for BCBAs and BCaBAs
  • Implement and monitor ongoing quality assurance measures and performance reviews for clinical team, including KPIs such as monthly billable hours requirements
  • Facilitate and oversee center programs such as Circle Time, social skills groups, partnerships with outside agencies (ex: UTSA Clinical Site program), and other programs
  • Work alongside other BCBA Clinical Directors and Center Managers to create, implement, and oversee RBT clinical training, training workshops, student supervision/unrestricted hours
  • Work with operational and intake teams to assign BCBA caseloads and adjust caseloads as needed
  • Complete final review of all outgoing Treatment Plans for clinical quality prior to submission to insurance
  • Serve as the RBT Supervisor Coordinator
  • Attend Continuing Education (CE) events to maintain and increase knowledge and clinical skillset
  • Assist with clinic operations as needed such as providing direct service, clinical support, etc.
  • Assist with hiring/interviewing of BTs/RBTs, marketing and outreach events, and other duties as assigned
