The BCBA position at Burnett Therapeutic Services is designed for a qualified professional who will provide clinical supervision and oversight of programs for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. The role involves designing and implementing ABA programs, collaborating with families, and supervising staff to ensure effective treatment plans are executed. The BCBA will also conduct assessments and develop behavioral plans to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.

  • Design and implement a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to tailor ABA programs to client needs.
  • Deliver individual and group learning experiences to assist clients in achieving treatment goals.
  • Train and supervise mid-level supervisors and direct care staff, reviewing progress on goals and intervention strategies.
  • Conduct assessments, write treatment goals, analyze data, and write progress reports under the Clinical Director's supervision.
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments using standardized tools.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of behavioral plans for children.
  • Assist in developing adaptive skills for clients to enhance their roles in various settings.
  • Provide behavioral consultation to families and schools.
  • Supervise ABA programs to help clients learn skills related to daily routines, coping, and social interactions.
  • Empower parents and caregivers to influence clients positively within their routines.
  • Establish and maintain supportive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Define target behaviors and write treatment goals, coordinating evidence-based programs and interventions.
  • Model and teach support staff how to implement intervention strategies.
  • Manage ABA session schedules for support staff and clients, adjusting as necessary.
  • Meet with families weekly to review progress and consult on treatment plans.
  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • BCBA Certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in a clinical setting with children and adolescents.
  • Knowledge of various assessment tools like VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, and Vineland-III.
