About The Position

The BCBA Assessor at Compleat Kidz is responsible for conducting skill and behavior assessments to develop individualized treatment programs for children aged birth to 18 years. This role emphasizes a team approach to patient care within a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation setting, focusing on providing comprehensive ABA therapy services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analyst or related fields required.
  • North Carolina BCBA license and BACB certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or obtain the NC license within 30 days of employment required.
  • 3 years of experience as a Behavior Analyst preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments for newly identified families and coordinate with admissions and scheduling teams to arrange assessment and re-assessment schedules.
  • Complete clinical assessments to inform programming based on Applied Behavior Analysis, utilizing tools such as VB-Mapp, ABLLS, and AFLS.
  • Develop and regularly update comprehensive ABA programs for clients, drawing on data analysis and assessment results.
  • Perform Functional Behavior Assessments and create Behavior Intervention Plans for assigned clients under licensed supervision in accordance with North Carolina law.
  • Provide clinical guidance on ABA program implementation to multidisciplinary teams, including instruction on intervention rationale, behavior function, and literature-based validation.
