The BCBA Administrator for Children Services at UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago is responsible for assessing, developing, and maintaining behavior plans for youth in care within group homes. This role involves providing training to Youth Support Specialists (YSS) and respite workers on effective behavior strategies and trauma-informed care. The primary goal is to ensure that all behavior plans promote the health, safety, and personal growth of the youth served. The behavior services provided must comply with the regulations, policies, procedures, and standards set by the Agency and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The position requires conducting home visits three to four times per month, or more frequently during times of instability or crisis. The BCBA Administrator will also attend psychiatric appointments to provide behavioral data and updates. Each behavior service is tailored to meet the specific physical, social, and emotional needs of the youth, necessitating team collaboration and consistent communication among all stakeholders involved. Supervision and training will be provided weekly or biweekly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Administrator or Director, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. Candidates for this position should possess a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis from an accredited institution, or an equivalent Master's degree in a human services field. A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting with children or adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities is required, including at least one year of experience in behavior analysis. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid Illinois Driver's License and maintain proof of auto insurance. The role also requires certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with the expectation to complete Safety Care Specialist training within the first 30 days of employment.
