In this role, you will support veterinarians in providing excellent animal care, ensuring the well-being of our animal patients while maintaining a compassionate and efficient service.

Requirements

• Valid Veterinary Technician license in the state of Virginia.
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently.
• Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners.
• Basic proficiency with veterinary software and medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures.
• Monitor animal recovery post-surgery and provide necessary care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage client communications.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for animals and staff.
• Provide client education on pet care and health maintenance.
