A Battery Changer (or Battery Technician) is responsible for the safe removal, installation, charging, and maintenance of industrial batteries used in warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. They ensure maximum equipment uptime by monitoring water levels, cleaning battery terminals, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant battery room while following OSHA safety protocols. An employee in this position can expect to earn $19.00 (+$1 Shift Differential) per hour based on experience, skills and other factors permitted by law.
