About The Position

The Battery Technician/Sales Associate role at Alpha Power Solutions involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing appropriate product recommendations. This position combines technical skills with customer service, requiring the technician to perform battery replacements, phone repairs, and key cutting while also meeting sales goals and maintaining a clean sales environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in technical sales is preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software applications
• Ability to replace batteries in customer's cars and trucks
• Ability to lift up to 70-pound batteries

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features to customers
• Assist customers with product selection and answer any questions or concerns they may have
• Use in-house computer system to find the correct product the customer needs
• Upsell customers on items and provide a full range of options for customers
• Work with wrenches and tools to perform battery replacements on customers' vehicles
• Perform repairs on customers' phones and tablets (training and certification provided)
• Cut keys and program key fobs and remotes to customers' vehicles (training provided)
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
