About The Position

The Battery Service Driver is responsible for driving and operating service vehicles to assist AAA members with various roadside services, including battery replacements, flat tire changes, and lock-out services. This role emphasizes providing exceptional customer service while performing diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles. The position requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to build rapport with customers and ensure their safety during service interactions.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Two years of experience in a customer contact role.
• Vocational technical automotive training/certification or equivalent experience (preferred).
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AAA Compliance Training, RPST, TSAAC, Lock-out, PSP, Battery Service Training.
• Knowledge of vehicle components and common reasons for vehicle failure.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a service vehicle for roadside assistance.
• Perform flat tire changes, lock-out services, and fuel delivery services.
• Interact with customers on-site to establish rapport and trust.
• Utilize sales skills to offer AAA products and services during service interactions.
• Complete daily paperwork including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts.
• Use on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems for service delivery.
