Battery Research Intern (Internship - Summer 2026)WHAT YOU WILL DOBattery Cell Fabrication:     - Utilize the HATCI internal lab facilities to build cells with materials from different suppliers.     - Collaborate with University of Michigan Battery Lab to fabricate cells for material and process evaluation .   Test Cell Performance:     - Use the battery testing equipment at HATCI to measure cell performance, including metrics like cell power, cycle life, and internal resistance.     - Collaborate with University of Michigan Battery Lab to develop cell testing protocols and evaluate cell performance at battery lab facilities.   Data Analysis and Reporting:     - Analyze and compare cell performance data to evaluate materials or processes from suppliers.     - Compile technical reports and consult with HATCI engineers to validate the test results.     - Present the project results to the HATCI team, then plan and perform further testing as needed.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLEBasic Qualifications Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States.   • Pursing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in Korean language
