Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Battery Marshal to support night‑shift operations. This role is responsible for managing powered industrial truck (PIT) batteries, maintaining the battery shop, supporting recycling operations, and assisting with warehouse loading and unloading activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Requirements

  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing 60 pounds or more.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification.
  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and procedure compliance.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work overnight hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse, industrial, or equipment experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely change and handle powered industrial truck batteries in accordance with established safety standards.
  • Maintain the battery shop, ensuring all equipment is properly charged, organized, and operational.
  • Operate the cardboard recycling machine following safety and operational procedures.
  • Become certified to operate powered industrial trucks and safely load and unload trailers.
  • Perform routine checks of equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks and additional duties as assigned by supervision to support operations.
