We are seeking a Battery Engineering Intern in Ann Arbor, Michigan who will work within the Li-S team, assisting with general laboratory tasks with or without supervision, including chemical material preparation, bench-scale slurry mixing and electrode coating, coin cell assembly, and basic data analysis. Laboratory administrative duties may be assigned as needed. Through this internship, the intern will gain foundational knowledge of battery science and hands-on experience with the R&D process, from materials preparation through data analysis.

Requirements

  • College students majoring in science or engineering are preferred.
  • Prior experience in a scientific laboratory is required.
  • ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) the individual must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
