About The Position
This position requires the employee to be onsite full time in support of RESS manufacturing sites. The primary work location will be at the General Motors Global Technical Center in Warren, MI. Travel to GMNA RESS manufacturing sites will be frequent as you support implementation of process solutions. We are seeking a Battery Assembly Process Engineer to join our GPS Manufacturing Engineering Pack assembly team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting innovative solutions in Autonomous Mobile Robot equipment. You will work closely with RESS Subject Matter Experts and site plant engineering to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the performance, reliability and safety of our RESS assembly line equipment. Joining our ME organization will provide you with the opportunity to work on advanced engineering technologies, contribute to innovation, and collaborate with a diverse team of experts. You will play a key role in advancing our automation capabilities that ensure our manufacturing processes remain at the lead of the industry.
