The role is for a Mill/Mixer Operator responsible for manufacturing high-quality printing ink. The company will train the right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.

Requirements

Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired
Have 3 months of work related experience
Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
Have attention to detail
Be reliable to work assigned shift
Be flexible to work overtime as required
Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams
Have good attendance and punctuality
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
Post-offer, pre-employment drug screens, physicals, and background checks are required

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience (training provided)
Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
Previous experience within the Ink Industry

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition. Shift auto and manual steps
Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's
Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
Canning
Operating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
Completing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
Helping with repacks
