About The Position

A Batch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all mixing processes by managing staff on the compounding floor and coordinating resources. A Batch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all mixing processes by managing staff on the compounding floor and coordinating resources. Their duties include assigning employees to mixing stations, monitoring output levels at different points in the entire process and helping develop policies for the workplace. They will ensure that the mixing process and policies are followed. Most of the Batch Supervisors’ time will be spent on the compounding floor, although some data entry as well as label creation will be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic Math.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs continuously.
  • Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time while cleaning, squat while cleaning, use provided hand tools for cleaning.
  • Must be able to climb steps frequently.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid driver’s license & Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

  • Knows, understands, communicates and facilitates a safe work culture, ensuring compliance with all company safety/environmental and housekeeping policies.
  • Plans mixing operations, establishing priorities and sequences for batches being made.
  • Communicates between Site Leader and other supervisors of schedule problems and resolves issues that may affect the planned priorities.
  • Inspects work areas to ensure operational performance and utilization.
  • Monitors employee performance to assure that quality and mixing standards are met and assists in completing performance reviews.
  • Assures that employees are trained to adequately perform assigned tasks.
  • Builds and maintains morale in the hourly mixing workforce and maintains a good attitude with fellow workers and management to enhance morale.
