Mrs. Gerry’s was founded in 1973 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mrs. Gerry’s is a premier salad and side manufacturer and offers 120 different products which are sold coast to coast. TITLE: Batching Operator - 1st Shift STARTING WAGE: $20.00 per hour HOURS: 6:00am-2:30pm (end time may vary due to business needs) DAYS: Monday through Friday BENEFITS Health Insurance Virtual Primary Care Health Savings Account (HSA) Dental Vision Short and Long-term Disability Insurance Critical Illness Hospital Accidental Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and dependents Basic $25,000 Term Life Insurance policy. This is paid 100% by Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen, LLC for each permanent full-time employee. 401(K) SUMMARY Operator will be responsible for operating equipment and understanding the various packaging equipment. They will ensure products are packaged to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
- Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Must sanitize equipment before using.
- Ensuring all lids, containers and box labels represent the product being filled.
- Ensure weight of each container of salad must weigh right on or .10 over, never under.
- Check dates on product and box, check metal detectors and weights.
- Set up, wash down, and tear down machinery.
- Will need to rotate to other jobs in the facility and complete duties as assigned.
