About The Position

The Batcher position at Raining Rose Inc. is responsible for the collection, weighing, and measuring of raw materials to ensure they meet the specifications outlined in batch tickets. This role involves combining and processing materials while maintaining safety, quality, and sanitation standards. The Batcher will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a relatable field preferred.
• Batching or food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP software preferred.
• Experience with a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated product development preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of material inspection methods and techniques preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality, production, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Collect, weigh and measure ingredients for batching process.
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Label and organize materials according to Batch Room process.
• Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using moving equipment or hand tools.
• Read and understand batch tickets to determine production specifications or information.
• Set equipment parameters for operation.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Clean equipment to sanitation standards.
• Complete and maintain department paperwork.
• Ensure proper weight and measured ingredients for batching process prior to compounding.
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies.
